Vehicle Purchase Pre-Inspection
If you are purchasing a used car, ACL Autos can carry out an extensive inspection to ensure that there are no hidden surprises that could be costly or dangerous. Whether it be an overall visual check or a detailed examination with a written report, speak to us at ACL Autos for a quotation.
Air Conditioning Service And Inspection
The purpose of this service is to ensure that air conditioning is in tiptop shape for the summer months. The service includes a gas leakage test, check up and top up of the refrigerant gas, compressor check, belt condition and tension check and a pollen filter condition check. It is important to operate your air conditioning unit during the winter months, to keep the air conditioning system lubricated and in optimal condition.
Computer Diagnostics
AT ACL Autos we have access to advanced computer diagnostic equipment used by the main dealers to read error codes, diagnose faults and to programme features and functions that previously only main dealers could do. We offer a fixed price diagnostic charge that is often less that the main dealers charge and should you have any repair work carried out to rectify any fault identified, ACL Autos will waiver the diagnostic charge. We specialise in German car diagnostics and repairs and have full access to all the technical information and systems used by main dealers.

We Preserve Your New Car Warranty
Under the EU Block Exemption Regulations, a main dealer cannot insist that your new car has to be serviced by them during the warranty period to avoid the warranty becoming void. The guidelines state that any VAT registered garage is able to carry out the service as long as a VAT invoice, service book stamp and genuine . or original equipment parts are used, the warranty will have to be honoured.
At ACL Autos, we provide the same level of service as the manufacturer, using approved parts, providing detailed Service Schedule and invoice, as well as stamping your service book, to ensure that we comply with the EU regulations, but with the added advantage of lower labour costs. We save you money without compromising your warranty.
Fees You Can Afford
Our charges are very competitive we charge from £45.00 per hour labour rate. Parts are generally billed at cost we also fit customer supplied parts and in cases of ‘beyond economical repair works’ eg: a seized engine, gearbox etc: we often can source second hand parts, these do come with a warranty, but it is of course limited to three months as against one year for brand new parts.

We will not carry out any additional work without contacting you and gaining your authorisation.
